I just realized I never commented here even though this game has RUINED MY LIFE (positively)

The gameplay itself is entertaining and hooking even, you can get so many upgrades and everything is possible with the current amount of combinations and make teams that are gimmicky or straight up murder machines, did I mention already that you can play as Pico?

I'm also quite intrigued about the lore of the game itself: just what drives people in universe play the game in the first place? Especially knowing they can get trapped and completely lose any and all semblance of themselves!? Is there a reward we aren't aware of for those who win and manage to exit? Are people being forced to play the game with no other choice?? I NEED TO KNOW!!

Going and gone into the wishlist, I must know more

I got endings 1, 2, 4 and 3 in that order- holy shit ending 3 hits HARD. I wonder what Pico wants to show Nene as well...

Interesting game, I like how it deals with the subject for the most part- I got some personal critiques that I can elaborate on later but am rushing a lil to make this reply kshsjahja- My main concern at the moment though is that some of the wording is confusing, so I'd reccomend revising the dialogue a little if possible.

Either way I'd like to see more of yer work :0

i think im addicted to this now send help

I got to test this game for review! I have a few inputs to give, though I am not a professional game reviewer or maker or anything so take everything I say with a grain of salt ^^'

The jumping is a little weird at times anti intuitive at times, especially in areas where you jump into a new room from below. Speaking of jumping- I can't seem to use WASD to move through the game menus, so I had to switch to arrows now and then. I also find using the space bar for attacking quite confusing though that's moreso a personal preference ;v;

Now plot wise... I love biblical inspired stories, though I can't say I see a lot of aspects of the original Tower of Babel tale other than the existence of other languages and the presence of the tower itself. If anything it reminds me more of the website "Library of Babel", which I am not quite sure if it's intentional or not but I figured it's worth mentioning :0

I also think revealing the plot twist midway through the story is a little harmful to the horror aspect your game was going for, as it is usually scarier to not understand what is going on at all. Not to mention the name Babel.EXE is a little cheeky when it comes to horror stuff -w-'

All in all though I found it relatively fun to play, so I think you're in a good track!! Keep it up >:]

Thank you for the response!

The weird jump is slightly on purpose, slightly on accident. Let's just blame it on the ZX Spectrum early computer inspiration jankiness lol.

I have never heard of "Library of Babel" but I'll check it out. Thanks!

I find the last part about the plot twist a little funny. I've had some comments where people are like "wait what even happened" after playing. It seems everyone finds out, or rather not finds out, what's going on at different points.

Thank you so much for playing and giving alllll this feedback!

I know this is probably a silly game and that's it but I'm trying so hard to find the meaning of this

HOLY FUCKING SHIT I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS
