I tried playing yesterday and was very bad at the game, I'll give it another try today and write the controls down!

The controls are all written in the author notes and also accessible from the pause menu, but it does take some getting used to because of how situational it gets.

I recommend the earlier Arcade levels for practicing; they start off a little easier than the average Story Mode levels (though they get a lot harder).

the basics for her story is that she is a knight, specifically for the Queen's Royal Guard. when she's on her vacation, the evil one of the two gods starts spreading dark magic everywhere that causes the queen to go missing and many civilians to turn evil. she stops her vacation to find the queen and hopefully fix everything. she eventually meets the not evil goddess and befriends her and she and the goddess defeat the evil god (and find the queen).
during that quest she also adopts an orphaned child.

The mix of quite realistic blood mixed with such a cartoony face is awesome, it's just funny which I like! Also seems like you got some lore going on so am curious regarding it!

Lore, where to begin... Recounting 21+ years of shared history in some coherent manner.
There is no chronology to my artwork, but a story can be pieced, for sure. Montauk is my psychic counterpart and companion since childhood, my means of understanding instant knowledge without thought. Age 12, I lost contact with my inner self -- no awareness of thoughts in the mind's ear or a voice of my own. Instead, the appropriate decision, emotion and reaction are determined by watching him interface with what we see.
The artwork subject matter are states of turmoil that manifest as physical effects on the body - emotional pain turned into visual symbols that we then witness as raw experience. (Everything within now externalized).
Somehow working together to navigate dehumanization.
